Oh man! They didn't pick up the trash. They didn't deliver the mail. There's nothing but parades on TV. What about our music lesson tonight?
So many holidays, so little time! We musicians like a good celebration as much as anyone else. Just think of all the great holiday music that has been written, right? Fortunately, these conflicts show up on the radar well ahead of time, providing an allowance for early planning. Makeup lessons are provided for Thanksgiving and New Year's Day. Flying Fingers instructors are typically available to attend lessons on all the other secular and religious holidays that transpire over the year. But as a general rule, if you let your teacher know in advance that you cannot attend a lesson that falls on a holiday, you will be offered a makeup lesson. The advance notice is very helpful to our teachers for reorganizing their driving routes.
TWO "BYE" WEEKS
In tandem with the school breaks, there are no lessons taught on the last week of December and no lessons again on the week of your child's spring break. There are also no makeup lessons offered for these two specific weeks during the school year as they are used to balance out the tuition calendar against the months that offer 5 weeks of lessons. Please contact us if you would like more clarification on this topic.
